the limit in size of Movie file

I recently designed a study where messages across all conditions are combined as a single program. That makes the movie file so huge - about 13 ~ 14 GB. I keep getting error messages - something is wrong with the file. But the file is just fine.
So, I divided it into two part - they are not even due to some characteristics of the messages. The bigger chunk is 8 GB - still producing errors. I wonder if there is limit in sizes of files we use. I have been using 2 ~ 3 GB size movies they have been fine so far!
Any idea?
