Change numbering for thought listing items

Hi, is it possible to change the numbering for the thought listing item? By default, each thought listing entry has a numeral and a period (example: 1.) to the left of the entry box. Is there some way to change this to say "1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc." instead of "1., 2., etc."?

Just curious if this was easily editable.
