run time error 9
We entered new items into an existing questionnaire. when running the new items, periodically and randomly during this questionnaire we are getting booted out the questionnaire (no data saved) with "run time error 9, subscript out of range". What does that mean? BTW we are using MediaLab v2004

Run-time error 9
I saw that thread, but this is different because it has nothing to do with the condition and is a run-time error. Does "run-time error 9" have a translation?
I've decided it was the way that we entered the questions. We changed them from a Scale Response to a Multiple Response, instead of entering from the bottom with an appropriate position number. We'll see if re-entering works. But, let me know if you find out what run-time error 9 means!
Thanks!

Can you send or post your que file as an attachment and let me know which item(s) produce the error? I'll take a look and see if I can tell what's causing the error. That particular error is "subscript out of range" but that won't tell you much as it can be caused by a number of factors--again usually related to a syntax error in a parameter field (but not always).

I keep having this error pop up as well. It happens when I try to run one of my questionnaires, but also appears whenever I try to run sample3.exp, race, provided in the medialab samples folder. I cannot locate the error.
