SPSS.sav File missing
Hi,
I was puzzled that sometimes after we have smoothly completed running a medialab experiment, the SPSS.sav file is missing in the data folder. The data folder (byvariable folder) only has and Excel file, spss syntax file, and a txt. file. May I know what could be the cause of this problem?
Thank you very much!

Try deleting the data folder completely and run a test session--does the same thing happen? (ps., of course you might want to back that data folder up if there is anything useful in it!). Also, what version of ML are we talking about? i.e., 200x.x.x?

Hi Jarvis,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I tried to delete the entire folder and rerun the medialab, the SPSS data file is still missing. It's weird in the sense that when I run medialab for another experiment, on the same computer, the SPSS file is there!
The version of medialab is 2004.3.0.24
Look forward to hearing from you!

It may be an issue with the 2004 version. I think the .sav file format was in testing during the final 2004 release and some fixes were made to it early during v2006. If you like, you can download and install v2006 or v2008 and I can give you a temporary (3-week) code to see if that will resolve the issue.
