Self-Control Typing Task

I am trying to program a self-control manipulation in MediaLab where participants see a paragraph on the screen and must retype it. What participants type is recorded and timed, but it does not show up on screen.

My question is, how do I have participants type in a paragraph and record what they type but not display in on their screen?

You could use an essay item and move the text box off screen using a [U]t[/U]op parameter like [I](t2000)[/I]. That will also give you lots of room to enter your paragraph in the question wording field.
