I'm having difficulty getting Direct RT (v2010) to send ttl signals to a connected machine via the parallel port. Direct RT is running on a Windows 7 desktop PC, which is connected via parallel port to a BioNex box from Mindware Technologies LTD which collects physiology data. That box is in turn connected to a second desktop PC running Windows XP, which has software that allows us to view the physiology signals as they are being acquired and which can mark the data during acquisition based on ttl signals being sent from the stimulus computer (i.e., the one the participant is sitting at running Direct RT).
I am able to send ttl signals through another program (ePrime) using this same set-up, so I know the port is working and I know the port address is correct, but for some reason the ttl signals I'm sending from Direct RT aren't coming through on the acquisition machine. The TTL I/O test seems to work properly on the Direct RT machine but it isn't changing the signal value on the acquisition machine at all.
