May be a version issue. The feature that gets MediaLab to skip any custom item without a filename came in v2006.1.28. If you have a version that's prior to that, try installing the latest version from the download page.

I'm trying to do the multiple questions per screen but i'm not able to do that. How do i do that?
Also, i'm trying to open the Questionnaire file on the zip file posted, and it is empty. Please, i need help with this.
Thank you.
barbara--you need to copy the zipped files to a folder before you can work with them. If you try to open the .que file while it's still in the zip file, it will appear empty.

I am trying to adapt the multiple ratings radio custom item for my own use, but I am having difficulty getting a backgroud image to display. For our purpose, we have 200 images that we would like to display on the screen one at a time and have the subject rate the picture on two scales. So I would like the image displayed at the top with the two ratings below it. I am able to get the scales to work, but the image is not showing up. I have inserted the following code:
<IMG SRC="pic.bmp">
ml.sub "pic.bmp" = <ml.bg>
And have the path name to the picture under BackImage in my questionnaire file.
Attached in the zip file is the custom item as well as the que file that references it.
Thanks for the help!

Can you edit your post to include a zip file with what you've got so far? I'll take a look.
Hello,
I opened the multipleRadios zip file and everything opened ok and I was able to run it through MediaLab ok, but the data only saved as "ok" and "99".
What happened?
Would have to see a zipped copy of your experiment folder. Or better yet--a test .que file that uses just the custom item and include a copy of the custom item itself. Basically, a test folder that is simplified to show the problem. Either zip and attach it to a post here or send it to us via support email.
