participants' responses displayed instantly on same screen as an image (case 14369)

    Hello,

I have a serial reaction time task with an implicit recall part where each trial displays four white boxes on screen. The participant's job is to recall the specific sequence (displayed earlier) and to press one of four keys corresponding to the four boxes on screen. What I need is a sort of instant feedback so that the participant sees their response on screen - specifically, I'd like an * to appear in one of the four boxes based on the key press made. Jumping procedure leaves a delay between the trial and feedback, and the 'feedback' option re-produces the key press itself on screen. Is there any way to get the specific image feedback without any delay?

Thanks for your help ahead of time -

    Nick
