Monitor mouse clicks during a movie

    [edited from support email]

I am setting up an experiment that needs reaction time measures of the mouse at every click of the mouse when it is being used within another embedded program (a media player). I also want to measure the number of mouse clicks while the participant is performing the experimental task.

Can I do it within MediaLab? Our lab now has MediaLab as well as DirectRT (latest versions). I understand from earlier conversations that InputRT can help here. Firstly, is InputRT to be separately installed? And secondly, can I run InputRT from Medialab straightaway or should I do it only via a DirectRT session?
