    Hello,

    1) DirectRT cannot display any running totals.

    2) Have you tried any of the automatic continuation features to get DirectRT to display the desired feedback? You can find the information about the automatic continuation features here in the DirectRT manual:

    http://empirisoft.com/directrt/help/..._rt_limits.htm

    3) You could use the command word "full" automatic continuation feature to try to use the feedback from the MinMax field of the styles.drt file. Or you can control the formatting of the text in the .csv file with its own styles code as described here in the DirectRT manual:

I tried using the -1 response time with a Jump (i.e., rt:44<995,53<998, -1<994) such that when the participant hits Z, they jump to feedback from trial 995, when they hit / they jump to feedback provided by 998, and when they time out, they jump to feedback provided by 994. But the -1 doesn't seem to utilize the jump feature, is this correct?

The jump function needs an actual keypress to initiate the jump to a different trial. If there is something you want to show during the trial as a result of doing nothing, you can define -1 as a valid response for the stimulus with the jump functions and then put the rest of the things you want to show in the same trial as the -1 response.

I follow your first sentence, but your second sentence confused me. Can you explain:

"If there is something you want to show during the trial as a result of doing nothing, you can define -1 as a valid response for the stimulus with the jump functions and then put the rest of the things you want to show in the same trial as the -1 response."

-1 is currently listed as an rt. Is that what you mean by define it as a valid response?

Essentially I want to show things based on whether they hit Z, /, or time out. Jumping from Z and / is easy, but it seems like you're saying I can jump from a -1?

I meant that you cannot use a -1 while trying to use the jump function. So in your example, pressing the Z or / is fine to initiate the jump function, but -1 will not initiate the jump function.
