Playing sound files one after the other (case 23783)

    Hi,
I'm conducting an experiment where I need to play one sound file and immediately after it's done the next sound file (which is the actual target stimulus). I need them to play one after the other but the first sound file is not always with the same length. When I put them as two separate stimulus with Time=0 they start playing simultaneously. How do I make the second one start only after the first one was completed?

    Thanks

For the first sound file of the pair, you need to enter the number of milliseconds in its Time cell that you want DirectRT to wait before playing the next sound clip. Put another way, use the number of milliseconds equal to the length of the first sound clip. DirectRT will start the first sound clip and then wait the amount of time you entered in the Time cell before starting the next sound file.
