Date and time output data between files (case 19942)

    Hi,

I was analyzing the data that MediaLab provides me in the "data" folder when i noticed that the time column of both byquestionnaire or byvariablename inside "experiment_name_que.csv" file is not the experiment's started time, is the finish time. The only place i can find the started time is in "byquestionnaire/question_order.csv" file. And in this same file there is no "date" column.

Is this always like that? Because i need a way to "map" the outputs of all the files (i.e. timestamps.csv, etc) and i cannot find something constant between them.

    Thanks
    Nico

    Nico,

You could use the @ parameter for the items in your .que file to get MediaLab to create a timestamp for the onset of that item. See this part of the MediaLab manual for more information: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/h....htm#timestamp

Thanks Jason, but i'm not looking for the items presented time, but if there was a way to change de data that the 'time' column displays in the 'byquestionnaire/expermient_name.csv' file, because is there where i need that info. If not, i have to do more post-processing work and i was trying to avoid it

    Thanks

    Nico,

There is no way to change what is written in the time relevant columns of the output files. So you can't customize this to try to link up different aspects of the data files MediaLab creates.

The subject ID and condition number are consistent across different data files, you could merge information based on them.
