How do I add multiple styles per row? (case 12834)

Is there a way to "switch" styles in the middle of each trial? For example, I want 4 words to be presented rapidly. I want the first 3 to be presented in a white font, and the the 4th stimulus to be presented in a red font. How do I do this? I tried adding a "style" column before the 4th "stim" column, but this prompted an error saying "missing value in row 3"... Thank you for any help.

As it says in the Style page of the DirectRT manual (http://www.empirisoft.com/directrt/h...rt_style.htm):

"Another useful hint is that you can change styles in the middle of a trial. To change a style part way through a trial, put the style in the Stim column surrounded by < > like this: stim1 <5>.
