    Correct and Incorrect Feedback

    [edited from support email]

I am trying to present information as to whether a participant was correct or incorrect with an answer on DirectRT. I understand how to show someone that they are incorrect (with the IAT program they have to press the correct key to continue). But, how do you present feedback that is timed (not dependent on a correct key press) and happens for both correct and incorrect answers. Specifically, I want the feedback to say YOU ARE CORRECT if people are correct and YOU ARE INCORRECT if people are incorrect (correct in green and incorrect in red). I want this to show up for 2500 ms. Is this possible? If so, how do you do it?

Take a look at the section on jumping in the user's guide, or online here:

    http://www.empirisoft.com/directrt/h...rt_jumping.htm

There is also a sample that shows you how to do something very similar to this using the jumping feature here:

    C:\DirectRT\samples\3 ordering trials\jumping.csv

    Hope that helps!
