    more flexible styles

    Hi Blair,

if I'm not wrong one can use styles only for all questionnaire or input elements.
I would prefer styles for all kind of elements, like question wording, scale anchors etc. separately.

    Thanks,
    Rene

At some point soon, I hope to convert all the item types to HTML which you will be able to modify directly. At that point, you be able to apply CSS style sheets and other such formatting methods for greater flexibility.

This will need an update, right?

Yes, this would be a major revision which would probably come out later this year or the beginning of next year as an update to the 2008 version due out this fall.

Same answer I give for most "what happened.." questions: Vista. We have spent most of our development resources getting MediaLab and DirectRT to be completely Vista (and hopefully Internet) compatible for the next (2010) versions.

Just found this thread when doing a search for "css". Looks like you might have made progress on this, at least when I look at the ml.styles.txt file in the Styles folder it sure looks like CSS (Cascading Style Sheets, in case anybody searches for that term in the future) to me.
