Multisensory Integration/Pip and Pop Paradigm (case 5030)

    Greetings-
Has anyone used the "Pip and Pop" paradigm, as described in Van der Burg and colleagues' (2008) work on multisensory integration? It was originally done in Eprime, but we'd like to do it on DirectRT as part of some work on media multitasking. Any advice or information is appreciated.

Noticed no replies to this issue. A related, brief post is here:

The post above addresses a core issue to the pip and pop paradigm, namely trials with a single stimulus, followed by trials that pair a second stimulus with the first.

If you have not already, you might review the samples in your DriectRT folder: ...\DirectRT\Samples\5 - other features

Some of these samples would give you a framework to adapt to your research design.

If you'd like, I'm glad to assist you further.

    thanks for your response tim,

the thread was started by my advisor - i got most of the test worked out, but in another thread am still trying to resolve a final issue (thread started on 3/25- start RT clock during an ongoing stimulus)
