Slides not displaying consistently (case 1584)

I must note up front that all experiments work correctly using the same version of DirectRT installed on a Windows XP sp3 machine.
On any Windows 7 computer the following occurs: when the input file is ran the slides do not display if the experiment requires user input eg. data is collected. If the slides are merely displaying stimuli they are displayed correctly.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Better yet, can anyone provide insight into a fix?

I have played with the different compatibility settings that Windows 7 provides as well as running as administrator and adjusting the resolution in the styles file. Nothing yet has produced anything different.

    Thanks!

    solved!

Windows 7 was not to blame - turns out it was the color depth of the stim slides. The slides were only 4 bit bmp. Once they were converted to 24bit bmp all was right with the world again.
