Optional fields not showing up in output file

    Hi there,

I am trying to add optional fields so I can track some photographs that are presented but are not showing up in the output file.

I have added optional field column !condition and underneath it I have written some labels eg. posone1 (e.g. positive block number 1, photograph 1).

But when I run the program the optional field column is present in the datafile but none of the labels I wrote into the input file appear, the header is there (condition) but the rest of the column is blank? HELP????

If you are not collecting any input on the trial, by default DirectRT doesn't write the trial info to the data file. You can ask it to do so by using a negative "block" value such as -1, -2, etc. You should then find everything you need in the log version of the data file (see the data/log folder). See also, "block" and "data FAQ" in the DirectRT user's guide for more detail.
