Set position for background image, not scale items

I need to have an image in a scale response item. For some reason, the parameters for setting the location of both seem to be the same (t - top, l - left), and when I set them ML applies them to the position of the scale, rather than the background image file. How do I specify the position of the scale items and the image independently?

    back image & scale response

I'm having the same issue. Scale response items are moving with the parameters, but I can't seem to get the back image to move. I see this was posted a while ago...any ideas on a fix? Were you able to solve this?

    Cheers,
    Bek

    fix!

I actually found out a solution: type the parameters for your image ONLY into the image box immediately after the filename is listed--this moved ONLY the image around the screen. Continues to use the scale-response parameters to move the answer choices. A friend of mine had this in coding and I stumbled across it. Hope this helps!
