    Skip questionnaire files within Experiment

    Hi there,

I am designing an experiment wherein subjects will be presented 8 of 16 wordlists (each list is randomly selected, and the content of the list are presented in a random order...done using the BGR and WGR withing each questionnaire file).

However, Of these 8 randomly selected lists, 4 must be of a certain list type. So, what I figured would be the best way, was if it was possible to skip over questionnaire files within the experiment. So, could I use a skipto value (either in MediaLab or in Excel) that would be recognized by the experiment? It seems as though skip values are only valid and recognized by MediaLab for the questionnaire that it is placed in (e.g., I would not be able to enter a skip value in one of the questionnaire files, and expect it to skip over subsequent questionnaire files in the experiment).

Is there any way around this?

MediaLab should recognize skipto values in subsequent questionnaires. Remember though that MediaLab can only skip forward so if the order of the que's has been randomized and the skipto variable exists in a que that was to be presented earlier, then that variable will not be found and the session will end.
