Display pictures for fractions of a second?

    [edited from support email]
Can you program a picture to stay for less than a second in medialab? I attempted to use d.5 and d0.5, but neither seemed to work. Is there another format that works or do I need directRT?

DirectRT would be more appropriate for that. Windows is generally not a good environment for precise timing of events. We intentionally don't allow fractions of a second in MediaLab in order to avoid creating any illusion that such precision is possible with a standard Windows program. DirectRT, on the otherhand, is a DirectX application which does allow for millisecond precision.
