Compare two numbers - if not equal then go back

    [edited by moderator]

I'm trying to perform the steps below:

Q1. Please enter the PARTICIPANT identification number.__ __ __ __

    Q2. Please re-enter Identification Number.__ __ __ __

If Q1 is not equal to Q2 then skip to Q1.

I've created a response.xls that compares the numbers, the problem I have is that if the numbers match, it performs correctly. If the numbers do not match, it ends the questionnaire.

I'm attaching the questionnaire, will someone please take a look?

Bothra--I tried running the session here and it seemed to work ok in both scenarios. I can't imagine it being a version issue. A good start would be to check the responses.xls report files in the "reports" subfolder of the "data" folder. You'll be able to see the actual responses from each participant as well the the skipto variable calculation that would have been used. If the correct skipto values are being saved (as they are in the attached sample runs) then it may actually be a version issue. If that's the case, can you let me know what version of MediaLab you are running this test on?

    Hope this helps,
    Blair
