Stephen--are you still having any toruble with this? If so, try downloading and installing the non-beta release of DirectRT v2010. Most of these issues were resolved during the beta testing phase.

    Problems continue

Blair, I am still having the problems.. THis may be a boot camp issue and not a direct rt issue although the sample files seem to run flawlessly. Any suggestions?

If the samples run fine, that's a good sign. Probably means it has something to do with your styles file. Do you have .drt file located in the same folder with your input file? If so, could you attach it? First thing I would do is compare the contents of the style file with those of the sample files--esp the resolution settings.

    Issues with samples

Blair, when I copy, relabel, then paste a sample file ot the Direct Rt folder, I get same errors that I receive with my input files. Any thoughts

I'm guessing it has to do with either the style file or permissions. If you take your reactiontime.csv file and place it in the same folder with some working samples, does it run properly?

I'd try this folder first (from v2010.2.103)

    C:\DirectRT\Installation\Source\Files\Main\Compone nts\Samples\2 - Basics\

I think the stim folder there has everything your file calls for. Even the style (.drt) file will accommodate it. If that works, then you could try replacing the style file in that folder with the one from your folder. If that doesn't break it, then I would have to guess it's a permissions issue of some type--esp. if working samples stop working when you move them to the same place. If that is a possibility, could you let me know the full path of your experiment folder?

    exact same problem as Stephen

i get the same error messages as Stephen, but I'm running DRT off of a server (Win7, 64bit) and accessing it via VPN and MS Remote Desktop Connection for mac. Screen captures attached.

Remote Desktop seems to require fixed screen resolutions, more screen captures attached.

    Help?

Yeah, I'm getting these errors on one of our old ThinkPads--at T40. I get a color depth error and then the verdana font error. Starnge. I'd like to compare dxdiag.txt files to see if they have anything in common. Can you attach one?

I've just attached the dxdia.txt file (and screen captures of the images) from this old T40 thinkpad. One thing I noticed first off was an unusal quantity of unknown or missing information regarding DirectX:
