I am having participants rate 100 faces on the exact same question. The order that each face (set as the background) appears in is random, which I set using the WGR value. The data records in the Excel file fine, but when I check the SPSS data file (using the "byvariablename" file folder), there are no data! I have all 100 questions as scale responses, each labeled as its own variable, but no variables show up in SPSS except the subject number, condition, date, time, and two other miscellaneous items. When I programmed this study, I was hoping to have all 100 scale responses saved in the order I programmed them in MediaLab, regardless of the fact that the order of the scale responses were randomized. Is there any way to get around this? Please help! Thank you!
