    Using "None" as an option

I am trying to program a scale on Media Lab that has the word "None" as an anchor but since this is the code for the program to display nothing, nothing shows up. I have tried using stars (*none*) and this works but I am wondering if there is a way to do this without adding any additional characters/symbols.

    Thanks!

I was asked this questions years ago, but I don't recall the answer and did not see the response on the boards here. Does adding a space at the end of the word do the trick? Before the word? Or using an uppercase 'N'?
