Power point problem‏ in MediaLab 2008

When I include a.pps file either in a questionnaire or in a condition of an experiment (e.g. Condition 2 in sample 1), the MediaLab program hangs up and stops responding. I followed the instructions in the support web (i.e. close powerpoint before start using the MediaLab), but the problem was not fixed, so I don't know what is going wrong. Any ideas? I used Windows xp with MS office 2003.

You may want to try restarting your machine, not opening Power Point, and then running the experiment.

In older versions of MediaLab, the software will stall if any Power Point entity or tool is still running, as you've noted you've discovered. What version of MediaLab are you running?

Also - make sure your file doesn't have multiple extensions, IE. powerpoint.file1.pps
