    Make video stop with a key press, record RT?

    Does anyone know how to get MediaLab to show a video, but have the video end when the participant presses a key?

    We want our participants to search for an object in a video, then press a key when they spot the object. We'd like the video to end then, and of course have the RT recorded.

    You could use a scale response item or even a simple instruction item and specify the video as a backvideo. Those two item types will have MediaLab continue on as soon as a valid number key is hit (scale response item) or the spacebar is pressed (instruction item).
