How to make the recording of the response begin at the END of the stimulus?

    Hi there,

as always, any suggestions will be much appreciated:

In my experiment, I'm expecting many of my subjects to give a second oral (recorded) response (in an attempt to correct their first one) to a certain sound stimulus; and, most of the times, the presentation of the next stimulus will already have begun, with the unpleasant result of cancelling (or interfering with, anyway) the response for the next stimulus, let alone its presentation.

Thus, I need some way to make DirectRT record the response AFTER the presentation of the audio file, so that such second, corrective responses of theirs do not make the following audio file stop (as well as record such a corrective response as a response for the next stimulus)

    Thanks so much

    Giorgos

What about having a followup response where if you press a certain key within a specified amount of time, then you are given a chance to enter a second vocal response---and otherwise, you continue to the next trial?
