Other startup fields? How to stop a session?

    [edited by moderator]

Is there any way to change the fields and/or add more fields to the start of trial prompt where it asks for subject id condition and range i would like to add age and several other fields to this prompt

Is there a key or key combination to stop any trial i have been caught several times when pressing a non designated key and the program stalls and i cant get out of the trial at all without rebooting the computer it seems like directrt captures the input doesnt know what to do with it and doesnt release it back to the os

thank you for anyone that can answer either of these heh

Re additional fields, yes, you could add test responses via the RT:text function.

Re an escape key, you can use the ESC key in most cases.

There was an additional question here regarding randomization but I thought it best be answered in a separate thread. However, I couldn't understand it. From what I could understand, definitely check out the manual especially the sections on randomization. If you still have any questions, please post a separate thread on it and perhaps an input file that shows what you are trying to do.
