need more columns in excel

I need to present 90 stimuli while an audio file is playing. This equates to using more than 256 columns which seems to be the limit in excel. Is there any way I can do this?

If you can get Excel 2007, you can go up to 16,384 columns: see

Thanks MLM--a very nice benefit of the new Excel. Note you can also use a plain text editor like notepad if you don't mind losing the functions and aesthetic appeal of a spreadsheet environment. The csv files that Excel saves are just plain text and can be edited by any program that can read and save plain text.
