I'm putting together a questionnaire and I would like to include some distractor screens, but participants generally won't be using the mouse. Is there a way to proceed past an Instructions item using the Enter key? Alternatively, is there an easy workaround with another item type?
For Instruction item types that show the Continue button in the bottom right, you can simply press the space bar to advance to the next item in the .que or .exp file.
You could also use the duration parameter to have MediaLab move on to the next item in the .que or .exp file after a specified number of seconds. Simply type dxx in the Parameters field of the Instruction item, where xx is the number of seconds you want MediaLab to let elapse from the first appearance of the Instruction item (for more information, see this section of the MediaLab manual: [url]http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/help/queparameters.htm#duration[/url]
